Whoever brought us here they shall have to take us home.
My past and my future depends on today.
Thanks Trevor.

And time doesn’t wait for me, it keeps on rollin’. And I take what I find, I don’t want no more. There’s a long road, I’ve gotta stay in time with. I’ve got to keep on chasin’ that dream, though I may never find it. Well I’m takin’ my time, I’m just movin’ along…
At 16years old, there was nothing better than sleeping between two Realistic speakers with the 8-track looping Boston all night.
My lucid dreams were very real – I knew I could do anything I wanted with my life. Eventually education and career crept in to create a perceived security for me and my Family. About fifteen years into being that ‘professional’ the dreams returned and with the help of a loving, supportive, and dream filled wife – we began to live again.
I’d bet the kids of the Columbia left earth with their dreams fulfilled.
We made this video for bnf’s FamiliesRock project and projected it at some of the rock shows for Families that we produced. Glow sticks in a bar with your babies and some rock n roll. It was fun.
The original bnf page on the Columbia Launch published back in Jan ‘03 – we’re about 1.5 years into our 1 year ‘RV vacation’ to find a place to live and work. A couple of gigs had fallen through and we ended up in Florida. Had never seen a shuttle launch or alligators in the wild.
The original bnf page on our visiting Kennedy Space Center published back in ‘03 – I think it was the day after the launch that we visited the Space Center. It was very cool to be so into the Columbia mission during our visit.
We somehow tired of Florida during the Columbia mission and ended up driving across the country to San Diego, CA when Columbia was still orbiting. It was here that we learned with the rest of the world that the dreamers of Columbia would never return to earth.
I really like Roy H Williams MondayMorningMemo.com. Comes every monday to my inbox. Sometimes I share some of it with Jenn. A lot of it doesn’t ring my bell. This morning, my bell has been rung – specifically with these excerpts:
“When you don’t know where you’re going,
any road will get you there.”
- Cheshire Cat, Alice in Wonderland
You can’t navigate a ship by studying the wind and waves. Fix your gaze on your goal, a non-negotiable, fixed position that can never change. Let that be your lighthouse, your reference point, your North Star.
No stack of dollars can be your lighthouse. Dollars are merely a byproduct. Money fails as a compass because it can be found in every direction. Guiding directives and unifying principles are never merely financial.
Where do you want to be tomorrow?
